Celebrating the Future: Jonathan Honored at the Championships

We are thrilled to announce that Jonathan has been recognized for his outstanding performance and heart at the recent Championships, taking home two prestigious honors: The Youth Fighter Award and The Martin Ross Fighting Spirit Award 2026.

The Martin Ross Fighting Spirit Award holds a very special place in our community. Established in memory of "Rossy"—a founding member, pioneer of UK Savate, and an inspiration to us all—this award is given to the fighter who best embodies the kindness, resilience, and "team fighter" ethos that Martin lived by.

A True Talent

Jonathan’s dedication to the sport and his eagerness to learn have been evident to everyone in the gym. Winning the Youth Fighter Award highlights his technical skill, but receiving the Fighting Spirit Award proves he has the character to match his talent.

As James Southwood noted, Jonathan is a great talent with a real willingness to progress. While he continues to build the experience needed for major international stages like the European Cup, these awards mark a significant milestone in his journey.
