Elevate Your Martial Arts Journey: Our Official Grading System
We're excited to announce a significant update to our gym's grading system, offering incredible opportunities for your martial arts development! Our gym is now officially recognized by the World Kickboxing Organization (WKO), a leading international body. This partnership allows us to provide you with International Dan Gradings in kickboxing.
International Dan Grading: Your Mark of Excellence
Achieving an International Dan Grading is a major accomplishment, recognized globally and highly valued within the kickboxing world. The WKO offers a wealth of programs and pathways that often recommend or require this international certification, opening doors to advanced training and recognition. We encourage all our members to pursue this rewarding achievement. You can find our official listing on the WKO website at https://www.worldkickboxingorganisation.org/_files/ugd/0d1330_2e5147772d9f42ad8aec59267acd36e9.pdf.
Your Path to Mastery: The WKO Colour Belt Syllabus
Before you reach the Dan grades, your journey will be guided by the comprehensive WKO Colour Belt Syllabus. This structured system helps us accurately track your skill progression and ensures you build a strong foundation in your kickboxing practice. While participating in these gradings isn't compulsory, we highly recommend it. It's a fantastic way to measure your progress, challenge yourself, and officially recognize your hard work and dedication. We're also planning exciting programs to support all members in their pursuit of these advancements!
Beyond Kickboxing: Achieve Your Taekwondo Black Belt
In addition to our WKO affiliations, we're proud to offer a distinct pathway to achieving your Taekwondo Black Belt through our connection with Kombat Taekwondo. This is a fantastic option for those passionate about Taekwondo, separate from the ITF and Kukkiwon systems.
To earn your Kombat Taekwondo Black Belt through our gym, members need to meet the following criteria:
- Be an active member of our gym.
- Hold a Brown Belt within our WKO grading system.
- Have consistently practiced with us for over one year.
- Be able to proficiently perform Taeguk 1-8 and Koryo.
Remember, as the saying goes, "A Black Belt is only a White Belt that didn't quit, even when it got harder." We're here to support you every step of the way on your martial arts journey, helping you achieve your goals and push beyond your perceived limits.
